Training Guide.
Introduction
COMAC provides technical training in the production and use
of the technologies highlighted in this catalogue.
Stabilized Soil Blocks (SSB) and Micro Concrete Roofing (MCR)
Technologies
Training in SSB and MCR tiles is always in two phases which
are:
- Production of the Blocks or Tiles. This takes 7-days minimumTechnical
application.
- This takes between 7-days minimum for experienced builders
and 21-days minimum in case of training builders from scratch
- Roofing with MCR tiles takes a minimum of 7-days or as
long a roof may take to complete.

COMAC hands over the project to the community.
Training Details
COMAC technical training in ABT's covers the following
most critical areas:
Raw materials selection and testing
Materials preparation
Equipment operation, safety and maintenance
Production procedures
Quality control
Setting up production runs
Building with ABT's guidelines
Establishing a business using ABT's and costing
COMAC Training Rates
In all the Technical Trainings, COMAC charges are based
on daily rates, dependent on the length of the training.
Each training course package has a 2days minimum allowance
for general preparation, logistics and report writing. Travelling
days are charged at full daily rates. The training fee includes
VAT and training notes and materials packages.
In all cases, the Client must provide transport, accommodation
and meals, or a reasonable Daily Subsistence Allowance (DSA).
Where transport is not provided, COMAC can use its own charging
the Client the mileage involved.
Kindly contact COMAC management to get a quotation for

to work within the Client's budget, in building long term
relationships.
